Calendar of Events         

Since its inception members of the Organizing Committee of Silent Witness Nova Scotia have been making regional presentations in an effort to establish Silent Witness Chapters throughout the province. We have presented in Truro, Yarmouth, Greenwood, Sydney, Halifax and Dartmouth. These meetings have been wonderfully received by those in attendance, and most have found them powerful, moving and very educational. If you have already attended one of our regional meetings, thank you. Please consult the listings below for future public meetings and on-going chapter events across the province.

February 10th - 16th: Family Violence Prevention Week

February 15th: "Ending Violence Against Women: Men Standing Up!"
       The Metro Interagency Committee on Family Violence 9:30 am
       to 1 pm, Doors open at 9:00 am

February 18th - 19th: Silent Witness Nova Scotia will participate at the
       Dalhousie Student's presentation of the Vagina Monologues.

March 27th: V-Day Halifax Presents: A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant And A Prayer: Readings On Violence Against Women.

May - June 2008
Audra Raulyns and The Elliotts present "Swing into Spring" Concert tour.
Partial proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Silent Witness Nova Scotia. After their very successful Marigold Cultural Center performance the
demand for this group is growing. This is a great show; please come
out and help support Nova Scotia performers and Silent Witness Nova Scotia. Dates are being added throughout Nova Scotia, so stay tuned for more information.

inspired by her experience with New Brunswick Silent Witness.

All proceeds will go to Silent Witness Nova Scotia.
